Before you contact her to schedule an interview, please read her biography and her list of previous public appearances to learn more about her before the interview. This will eliminate some basic questions, such as "How did you get started?" or generalized questions "How/why do you do a children's garden."
Since this question has been addressed in many of her books, I'd be glad to ask her publisher to send you a review copy of the appropriate book to help prepare you for an interview. Just send me an e-mail inquiry with your mailing /shipping information.
One condition for a phone interview is for Sharon to be able to proof what is written for accuracy, not editorial style or content. She can normally respond within 24 hours with advance notice. This helps eliminate misquotes or incomplete information that might cause injury to people, plants, or animals. Some edible plants have inedible parts, for instance.
Copies of photos and book covers are available upon request. If you would like to excerpt her published work, I'll be glad to get that permission from her respective publisher.
